It is conducted by NTA twice every year - January and April. The JEE main 2021 application form will be released on the official website of JEE Main. To apply for JEE Main 2021, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the authority. The notification for JEE Main 2021 January exam is expected to release in December. A total of 8,58,273 candidates applied for JEE Main 2020 January/September exam. Out of which, 6.35 lakh candidates appeared in the exam.

JEE Main 2021 Eligibility Criteria for BArch
JEE Main eligibility criteria require candidates to fulfil multiple aspects to become eligible to appear for this national level engineering entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2021 candidates is as follows:
The eligibility criteria decided by the Council of Architecture for admission to B.Arch. course other than NITs, IIITs, CFTIs: “No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/he has passed an examination at the end of the qualifying examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the qualifying examination”.
Number of attempts allowed in JEE Main - A candidate is allowed to attempt the exam for three consecutive years. From 2021, JEE Main exam will be held twice a year – first in January and the second time in April. Thus, the number of attempts will be six in total – twice each year for 3 years.
In case an aspirant wants to take more attempts then he or she has to appear for JEE Main consecutively (back to back) in three years. Which means one cannot take a gap year in the attempt.

The application form of JEE Main 2021 will be released for BArch papers. Candidates could fill the application forms and submit the same till the last date. The application process involves registration, filling the application form, uploading the images, payment of fees, preview and submission of the applications.
NTA will release JEE Main 2021 Paper 2 admit card in online mode. JEE Main admit card has been issued to all the candidates who have registered successfully for the exam. The admit card is an important document which must be carried to the examination hall. Candidates who do not carry their admit card will not be allowed to appear for the entrance examination. Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry an identity proof.
NTA will release JEE Main 2021 exam centres along with city codes. In 2020, exam centres have been decreased from 570 to 660 cities in India along with 9 cities abroad.
