JEE Mains and Advanced 2021 are on the doorsteps, but JEE 2022 is also on the way. We must not forget that 2021 has come more than halfway down and preparation time for JEE 2022 is getting trimmed with each passing day. The usual strategy of preparing for JEE first and saving board exam preparation for Jan-Feb won’t work now.

JEE 2022 Expected Date
The first session of JEE 2022 is expected in February fourth week and subsequent sessions are planned in March, April, and May. The dates are expected and subject to change if the situation is not conducive due to pandemic. But, you be prepared well for the exam based on these dates to prevent the last-time hassle.
Pre-Requisites For the Preparation

- Test Your Academic Status Quo: Before you start preparing for JEE 2022, you must first know your current knowledge level and how prepared you are if your exam is the very next day. Trust us, it is a very beneficial step before starting your preparation. To test your knowledge, do a previous year’s question paper and see the score you get. It will help you know how intense and in what direction you need to start.
- Balance Your JEE and Board Preparation: Since the first term of Board Exams 2022 is scheduled to be held in Nov-Dec, you need to keep a balance between your board and JEE Preparation. Divide the study hours according to your priorities and preparation levels for both exams. You must not ruin either or both the preparations due to mismanagement.
- Set a Practical Time Table: Before you start preparing for JEE 2022, it is very helpful to make a practical timetable to stay disciplined throughout the months left between the exam. By mentioning the word ‘practical’, we mean to say that don’t make a timetable out of emotions. Be realistic in your approach and devote only as much time to things as you can actually give for 4-5 months. There is no point in setting a 16-hour timetable if you can’t make even 12 hours in real. Preparing according to this action plan will help you work productively to get a good score.
- Set a Test Day- Save a day in a week to test yourself on the topics covered in the week. Make a questionnaire from previous year’s question papers on the covered topics and analyze your scores and performance. It will not just boost your confidence but also help you track your growth.
- Keep Preparing Smart Notes: By smart notes, we meant to say that don’t fill bundles of notebooks by writing down everything you find significant. It’s JEE, almost everything is important. So make crisp and concrete notes. Note down only those things which you tend to forget, any exceptions, and important formulas. Try to make notes in a hierarchy to have them handy during final revision.
- Save a Month For Last Revision: Plan your preparation in such a way that You finish your syllabus at least a month before the exam. This way you will have enough time to do a good revision and practice enough mock tests.
