CSAB 2022 SCHEDULE | CSAB 2021 COLLEGEWISE CUTOFF

CSAB 2022 stands for Central Seat Allocation Board which is responsible for allocating seats to premium institutes like NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. These admissions are done on the basis of JEE Main 2022 scores. Candidates who had already participated in the JoSAA 2022 counseling as well as those who did not can apply for this process.

CSAB 2022 will be conducted via 3 channels-

  • CSAB NEUT 2022 (North Eastern states and Union Territories)
  • CSAB UT 2022 (supernumerary seats for Union Territory)
  • CSAB SFTI 2022 (Self-Financed Technical Institutes)

Eligibility for CSAB 2022:

  • Candidates who have not registered in JoSAA till now but are eligible based on JEE Main 2022 ranks, will be eligible for participating in the CSAB special rounds for NITs/IIITs/ other GFTIs (except IITs) as per JoSAA 2022 / CSAB 2022 rules.
  • Those who participated in JoSAA and were allotted seats will also be eligible for participating in the Special Rounds for NITs/IIITs/ other GFTIs (except IITs).
  • Those who participated in JoSAA but did not get any seat will also be eligible for participating in the Special Rounds for NITs/IIITs/ other GFTIs (except IITs).
  • Candidates who participated in JoSAA and got a seat in an IIT will also be eligible for participating in the Special Rounds for NITs/IIITs/ other GFTIs (except IITs)

In addition to this, for CSAB NEUT 2022, students should be a domicile of the Northeastern states or Union Territories.
