JEE Main Marks vs Percentile, JEE Main Cutoff 2021

It has become important to understand the normalization process, as the JEE Main exam is conducted four times this year. Students can claim their rank in the most confined manner by directing the calculations on JEE Main Percentile vs marks. The results for all candidates will be published in the form of percentile score and the scorecard which shall have only the percentile score of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics along with the total percentile score.

JEE Main Percentile Vs Rank 2021

Before we move ahead, Students will be eager to know what their JEE Main percentile score means and what rank they are likely to get based on their percentile score

  • Percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of all those who appear for the examination. Basically, the marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of candidates.

The formula to calculate the percentile score is as under:

Total number of candidates who scored less than the highest rawscore / Total candidates appeared in the exam×100

  • Ranks are the performance scores of the candidates that are allotted based on the candidate’s score in the examination. So, the higher the JEE Main 2021 rank, the better institute, and preference will a candidate get.
