JEE Mains is around the corner and aspirants are going the extra mile to dig the victory flags in the upcoming JEE Mains exam. simply completing the syllabus is not enough! If you want to have an edge over your counterparts you need to step up your game. Preparation for JEE Mains requires a lot of hard work and determination. You have to be ready to even go through many sleepless nights to finish the vast JEE syllabus. But this means practicing and revising diligently while following a meticulous study plan that recognizes your strengths and takes care of all your weaknesses. You have to constantly motivate yourself to keep pushing until that exam date.

Here we are going to share some motivational points which will help you to stay motivated during the preparation for JEE Mains:

  1. Setting Priorities: For clearing JEE Exam, you need to set priorities. Firstly, you need to clear out your mind. Think about what you want to achieve in the future. Do you want to be accepted into a premium or a well-known institute to pursue your engineering dreams? This will help you to keep motivated for studies and will keep you away from distractions.
  2. Daily Reward: If you keep a daily goal for yourself; it could be that you finish a certain topic that day or maybe you solve a set of difficult problems that day. Once you accomplish your goal, reward yourself with little treats. It could be playing your favorite game/ using social Media for few minutes. Whatever it is, take some time to reward yourself. This will rejuvenate your mind and subconsciously encourage you to achieve daily goals.
  3. Small Achievable Task: Make a small goal for yourself first like Doing 20 questions daily and then increasing the number. If you are overwhelmed by your JEE dream, focus on what you can do tomorrow, the coming week, then next week. Take small steps, celebrate your accomplishments, and keep improving.
  4. Keep in contact with your Good friends and teachers: Having good company is very important so surround yourself with people who motivate you daily to do more. Keep regular contact with your good friends and discuss what is to be studied and revised and share study plans. This will let you know the progress of your friends which in turn will make you more motivated to study. Being in contact with teachers to get help regarding some topics and the syllabus of JEE Main 2020 may also be a big motivating factor while studying.
  5. Be Confident: At the end of the day, it is you who will decide how you want to do this i.e., positively, negatively, motivated, unmotivated. Keep clear goals and work hard on achieving them. There may be times when you wish to give up, however, if you wish to achieve your dreams of studying engineering, hard work is essential.
  6. Mock tests give you confidence: By giving Mock tests and test series courses you get to know your weak points and your strength. Sit in a closed room in your home, set the timer to three hours, and then give the exam. It will also help you in learning to manage your time. Write down the number of questions you were able to attend and which questions you attempted wrong. Analyse your paper on your own to know which type of questions are challenging for you and which questions can be solved with ease. Also, practice skipping those questions in which you are not confident, or you think will consume your extra time. Don't skip them entirely, leave them for the last and if possible, solve them but don't sacrifice the time of other questions for a few questions.
